ANIMATION

Creating 3D animation in our studio is a complex and multifaceted process that involves several stages, each requiring unique skills and approaches. Here are the main steps we go through to transform an idea into a finished 3D animation:

1. Pre-production Stage

Idea and Script It all starts with an idea. We develop the concept, plot, and script, which serve as the foundation for the entire animation. It’s essential to understand what we want to show and what emotions we aim to evoke in the audience.

Storyboard and Animatic Next, we create a storyboard—a series of drawings that visually represent key scenes and actions in the animation. This helps to visualize how the story will unfold. Based on the storyboard, we create an animatic—a rough version of the animation that helps to evaluate the timing and overall dynamics of the scene.

2. Production Stage

Modeling At this stage, 3D models of characters, objects, and environments are created. Our modelers use specialized software to create detailed and realistic models.

Texturing After modeling comes the texturing stage, where we add colors, patterns, and materials to the models to make them look realistic. This involves working with surfaces to achieve the desired visual effect.

Rigging Next is the rigging process, where a skeletal structure is applied to the 3D models. This allows animators to move the models and create various poses and movements.

Animation At this stage, our animators bring the models to life, creating movements and actions. We use keyframe animation and motion capture techniques to achieve natural and smooth movements.

3. Post-production Stage

Lighting and Rendering After creating all the animated scenes, lighting is added to give the scenes the right mood and atmosphere. Rendering is the process of converting 3D scenes into 2D images or videos. This stage can be quite labor-intensive, as it requires significant computational resources.

Compositing and Editing Finally, all the rendered frames are combined, and special effects, sound design, and music are added. This gives the animation its final look and creates a cohesive picture.

Final Touches and Release In the final stage, the finished animation is reviewed, and the last adjustments and improvements are made. After this, the animation is ready for release and presentation.

Conclusion

Creating 3D animation is a team effort requiring the collaboration of different specialists: scriptwriters, artists, modelers, animators, and technical experts. Each stage is important and affects the final result, so we pay attention to every detail to ensure our animation is of the highest quality and delights the audience.
